The following steps will help you understand the configuration steps.
- Add the content search webpart to the page from content roleup section.

- Edit the properties of the webpart and set the property mapping to required properties. Set ViewsLifeTime property.

- Change the query. Here, you can set the filtering options with your custom properties. In this sample, I have used file extension property to filter the items with specific document types.

- In the sorting section, set the sort by column to ViewsLifeTime and the order as descending type.
