How To Create A Site Collection In Office 365 Sites

This blog shows how to create a new site collection in Office 365 site.

  • Go to Office 365 site login Window. Enter your user Id and password to log in.


  • After successful log in, you will be able to see Office 365 Admin Window. Click on left navigation and select Admin.


  • In Admin Center, choose SharePoint to open SharePoint Admin Center.


  • On top navigation, click New to create a new site collection.


  • New Site collection Window will popup.
  • Enter Title, choose site URL's sites or teams, which you want to be displayed.
  • In template selection, currently 2013 version is used.
  • You can select different languages to create your site into selected language.
  • In select template, you can choose the appropriate template selection in which your site collection will create.
  • Time Zone- As per your time zone, you can select the time.
  • Administrator- You can enter the administrator name, which will have the full access over newly created site collection.
  • Server Resource quota- You can choose default (300 resource quota), else you can provide it on the basis of your requirement, which will does not affect on site performance.




  • Click OK to create new site collection. After some moments, new site collection will be created successfully.
