Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the former CEO of Binance, has entered into an agreement to advise the Kyrgyz Republic on blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations, as well as technological advancements, after signing a memorandum of understanding with the nation's foreign investment agency.
In an April 3 X post, the crypto entrepreneur shared, “I officially and unofficially advise several governments on their crypto regulatory frameworks and blockchain solutions for improving government efficiency, and expanding blockchain beyond just trading.” He expressed that this work is “extremely meaningful” to him.
This announcement followed a post by Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov, revealing that the Kyrgyzstan National Investment Agency (NIA) had signed an agreement with CZ to provide technical expertise and consulting services to the Central Asian nation.
The NIA’s role is to encourage foreign investments and assist international companies in exploring business opportunities within Kyrgyzstan.

He has expressed that he has, and will continue to give advice to multiple governments regarding these topics. This move highlights a growing trend of nations seeking guidance from experienced figures in the cryptocurrency sector as they navigate the complexities of digital asset integration.
