Amazon Introduces Recaps Feature for Kindle Series Readers

KIndle

Amazon has launched a new feature called “Recaps” for Kindle users, designed to help readers remember key plot points and character details before starting the next book in a series.

For fans of book series, remembering all the plot twists and character developments after a long break can be tough. That’s why Amazon has introduced Recaps—a brand-new feature for Kindle users that works like a Previously on segment before a TV show.

Now, jumping back into your favorite series is smoother than ever with quick refreshers on storylines and character arcs.

What is the Kindle Recaps Feature?

Kindle’s Recaps provide short, AI-generated summaries of previous books in a series. Whether you’ve purchased or borrowed a book, you can now get up to speed before diving into the next chapter of your favorite story.

This feature is currently available for thousands of best-selling English-language eBooks in a series.

Who Can Use It?

  • Kindle device users in the U.S. can start using the Recaps feature right away.
  • Support for the Kindle app on iOS is also on the way!
