Veteran Full-Cycle Windows Application Developer

As a self-starter and goal-oriented team player, I seek to provide high-quality object-oriented applications, utilities, data warehousing, embedded and/or library software for businesses or individuals to help them become more productive and more profitable.

Core competencies include end-to-end 1-, 2- and 3-tier interactive database application development using C/C++, Eiffel, Embedded C/Assembly, C#/VB.NET, Visual FoxPro (10 yrs VFP), and other platforms. Expert in SQL, Crystal Reports, and considerable experience with .NET, VSS, OpenGL, SQL Server, low-level ODBC, HTML, CSS, XML, and several scripting languages including Perl, Awk, ksh, sh, and sed. Specialties include software speed, reliability, and spatial mathematics. I would love to contribute to alternative energy, environmental, mapping, GPS and GIS development efforts, but am open to all.

In the embedded context, approximately 12 years experience with PIC microcontrollers (PIC24, dsPIC33, PIC32MX and PIC32MZ), C and Harvard and MIPS Assembly languages, and about 6 months experience with AM3358 (Arm-Cortex A8) and ARM Assembly language. Heavy experience with GPS, CAN and LIN networking, data-logging and dashboard other automotive devices where speed and high reliability are key ingredients.

I am an exceptionally able communicator, an independent learner, with an enthusiasm for complex problem solving and algorithm development. I have a history of good planning, accuracy, and attention to detail helping to bring projects to completion in less-than-expected time, because so many things work right the first time.
