Job Description

As a Web Solutions Engineer (WSE) within our Engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and deploying scalable, modern web applications that are at the forefront of innovation. Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
  2. Experience. At least 2 years of hands-on experience building robust full-stack web applications.
  3. Collaboration. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet operational objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Technical Expertise. Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Golang, TypeScript, or SQL.
  2. Database Skills. Experience in designing and debugging databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  3. API Development. Familiarity with developing resource-oriented APIs following best practices for scalability and maintainability.

Responsibilities
As a member of our Engineering team, you will.

  1. Code and Implement. Write, review, and optimize code in TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, or SQL to develop feature-rich and responsive web applications.
  2. Maintain and Enhance. Test, debug, maintain, and upgrade existing full-stack applications to uphold performance, security, and usability standards.
  3. Service Creation. Design and develop scalable services using industry-standard and Google-specific tools to support seamless integration and functionality.
  4. Documentation. Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and developer guides to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  5. Collaboration. Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Quality Assurance (QA), and other Engineers to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  6. Innovation and Problem Solving. Drive innovation by proposing creative solutions to technical challenges, optimizing application performance, and enhancing user experience.
