Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Vision and Strategy. Spearhead the project management, application-lifecycle-management, and access control vision for our platforms.
2. Define Platform Capabilities. Collaborate with engineering and architecture leadership to establish and refine platform capabilities.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration. Work closely with multiple functional teams in Airtel XLabs to deliver comprehensive platform services. Evaluate open-source and partner technologies to integrate the best solutions.
4. Team Liaison. Act as the primary liaison with other teams essential to delivering project management capabilities.
5. Product Ownership. Participate in one or more scrum teams as a product owner, setting priorities, defining goals, and managing backlogs.
6. Release Management. Establish criteria for release readiness concerning the functionality and quality of solutions.
7. Support Technical Teams. Aid multiple cross-functional technical teams in achieving their objectives within fast-paced and complex programs and projects.
8. Develop Partnerships. Foster strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to maintain focus on strategic and tactical program objectives.
9. Strategic Relationships. Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure the success of programs.
10. Roadmap Execution. Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs.
11. Risk Management. Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths.

Experience & Skills

Skills Required

1. Program Management Expertise. Demonstrated success in managing multiple major and concurrent programs.
2. Technical Leadership. Prior experience driving the development of large-scale distributed data platforms, recommendation and search technologies, big data pipelines, and analytical tools.
3. Engineering Collaboration. Significant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, and individual contributors.
4. Technical Communication. Ability to communicate authoritatively at a sufficient technical depth.
5. Agile Experience. Extensive Agile coaching and practitioner experience (Scrum, Kanban) with multiple teams.
6. Product Development. Experience in managing all phases of end-to-end product development.
7. Technical Knowledge. Knowledge of Internet client/server social networking applications and systems.
8. Hands-on Development. Hands-on software development experience is a plus.
