Job Description

At Google, we're renowned for our innovative technologies, products, and services — but it’s the people behind them that make all the difference. The Google Recruiting team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you'll help build and nurture our talent pipeline by representing Google’s brand and building meaningful connections with prospective candidates. Your role is crucial in ensuring that we continue to attract the best talent globally while creating a compelling experience for everyone who interacts with our recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a wide variety of go-to-market programs and initiatives, such as networking sessions for leadership talent and large-scale preparation sessions for early career and mid-senior talent.
  • Build and manage initiatives aimed at cultivating Google's short-term and long-term applicant pipeline, ensuring successful delivery and measurable impact.
  • Create compelling social media communications for recruitment programs, driving Google’s employer branding across multiple platforms.
  • Lead efforts for Google’s employee advocacy program, increasing engagement and visibility within the talent community.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises, analyze best practices across industries, and help Google stay ahead of trends in talent engagement.
  • Develop and implement large-scale engagement programs, as well as more niche initiatives, to activate passive candidates and grow a high-quality talent pipeline for mid-senior to senior-level hiring.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting delivery teams to ensure smooth integration of outreach efforts with Google’s overall recruitment strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including recruiting teams, event programs, and cross-functional departments.
  • Manage relationships with external partners such as third-party vendors, event organizers, and academic institutions to ensure effective program execution and drive best practices.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends and patterns, informing talent engagement strategies and ensuring the success of programs.
  • Track the effectiveness of initiatives, adjust strategies based on feedback, and implement solutions to continuously improve talent engagement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management or project management, particularly in recruitment or talent engagement contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in APAC recruiting, understanding the nuances of regional markets and talent pools.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze various data sets to identify trends, make recommendations, and develop actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and articulation skills for creating engaging content, delivering presentations, and communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A creative mindset paired with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges in innovative ways.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Comfort with change and a proactive, flexible approach to shifting priorities.
