Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • 8 years in software development, proficient in data structures and algorithms.
  • 5 years in testing and launching software products.
  • 3 years in software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree. Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Leadership Experience

  • 3 years in a technical leadership role, guiding project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years in a complex, matrixed organization, working on cross-functional and cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Technical Leadership. Provide direction on high-impact projects, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers.
  2. Project Management. Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  3. Software Development. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions critical to Google’s operational needs.
