As a Digital Workplace Specialist, you will be at the forefront of creating and managing an optimized and secure digital work environment. This role requires a deep understanding of various devices, technologies, and systems that facilitate a seamless digital workplace experience. Your expertise will ensure that all end-user devices, from laptops and desktops to mobile devices, operate efficiently and securely within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Device Management. Oversee and manage a wide range of devices including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and AV/VC technology. Ensure these devices are properly configured, maintained, and updated to meet organizational needs.
- Operating Systems. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Windows Operating Systems and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to effectively support and troubleshoot end-user issues.
- Information Security. Implement and manage information security protocols for end-user devices to protect organizational data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Peripherals Management. Ensure that compute peripherals (printers, scanners, docking stations, etc.) are functioning correctly and efficiently. Address any issues related to peripherals promptly.
- Building Processes. Develop and refine processes related to device lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
- Financial Management. Handle financial aspects such as budget management, raising invoices, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure cost-effective management of digital workplace resources.
- Collaboration. Work closely with peers and other departments to coordinate and integrate digital workplace solutions that support organizational goals and improve user productivity.

- Technical Expertise. In-depth knowledge of various end-user devices, operating systems, MDM solutions, and information security practices.
- Process Management. Experience in developing and managing processes related to device management and financial operations.
