As part of the Azure Cosmos DB team, you'll be working on one of Microsoft’s fastest-growing services—our next-generation, globally distributed, multi-model cloud database. Cosmos DB enables developers to build planet-scale applications with seamless performance. You'll join a talented, diverse, and growth-minded team, taking on exciting challenges to help us scale Cosmos DB and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Develop. Create high-performance, low-latency, and scalable frameworks, libraries, and experiences for Azure Cosmos DB, utilized by customers worldwide from hobbyist developers to Fortune 500 companies.
2. Innovate. Build cutting-edge solutions that drive critical business workloads globally.
3. Collaborate. Work with a diverse team of engineers to create exceptional customer experiences, embodying our culture of inclusion and growth.
4. Own & Deliver. Be accountable for feature development from concept to delivery, ensuring a high-quality bar at every step.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical fields.
• 2+ years of programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python.

Preferred

• Strong design, implementation, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with front-end development and high-performance open-source tools like React.
• Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience delivering large-scale commercial online software solutions.
