Job Description

Accenture is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. This position will require you to analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, enhancements, and development work, and contributing to the success of the projects and clients.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will lead and mentor the team, ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. Key Responsibilities

  1. Application Development. Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code for client solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  2. Leadership & Mentorship. Lead a team of engineers, guide them in decision-making processes, and manage their performance to ensure alignment with project goals.
  3. Team Collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key decisions and share technical knowledge.
  4. Problem Solving. Provide solutions to problems encountered by the team and across multiple teams to ensure project success.
  5. Best Practices. Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and deployment.
  6. Client Engagement. Engage with clients to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  7. Continuous Improvement. Encourage and drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills

  1. SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals. Expertise in SAP Advanced Track and Trace (ATTP) for Pharmaceuticals is a must-have. Experience working on solutions related to pharmaceutical serialization and traceability will be essential.
  2. Software Development Lifecycle. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies.
  3. Programming. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
  4. Database Management. Solid knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and data modeling, with experience in implementing and maintaining databases for large-scale applications.
  5. Problem Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable software solutions.
  6. Collaboration. Ability to engage with multiple teams, contributing to the overall decision-making process and ensuring alignment across various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  1. Minimum Experience. 7.5 years of experience in SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's requirements for serialization and traceability.
  2. Education. A continuous 15 years of education is required (i.e., completion of a minimum of 15 years of schooling and higher education).
  3. Technical Expertise. Proficiency in SAP Advanced Track and Trace along with experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions.
  4. Programming Skills. Expertise in Java or Python programming languages.
  5. Database Skills. Strong experience in DBMS, data modeling, and database optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills

  1. Leadership Experience. Prior experience leading a team of engineers, with the ability to mentor and guide junior members to success.
  2. Agile/Scrum. Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  3. Client Interaction. Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to understand and translate client requirements into technical solutions.
