As a Software Developer 4, you will be a key member of Oracle software engineering division, taking an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures. You will work on designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software programs for various applications, databases, and tools, with a focus on innovative cloud-based solutions. Your contributions will be vital in advancing Oracle’s software solutions, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and support the company's mission of delivering cutting-edge technologies to businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development. Design, develop, and implement software solutions for applications, operating systems, and databases.
2. Troubleshooting & Debugging. Analyze and troubleshoot issues within software applications, resolving bugs and enhancing performance.
3. Define Standard Practices. Collaborate with teams to define software development standards and best practices, ensuring quality and efficiency in the development process.
4. Design & Implementation. Take ownership of software design and the development lifecycle, ensuring that systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
5. Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of solutions that meet customer needs and technical specifications.
6. Innovation & Problem-Solving. Proactively research and implement new technologies, contributing to the innovation of Oracle’s cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

1. Experience. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in C++, Java, or other programming languages used in cloud-based development.
2. Technical Skills. Expertise in software design and development, debugging, troubleshooting, and implementing applications and operating systems.
3. Problem Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and optimize software functionality.
4. Collaboration. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
5. Software Engineering Principles. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and development best practices.
6. Cloud Technologies. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and their integration with application development.
