As a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality financial systems and business processes. Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship software solutions at scale, focusing on innovation and performance.
- Develop and enforce best practices in software development to enhance craftsmanship across the team.
- Implement system interoperability and data exchange tools, particularly for financial applications.
- Design and develop APIs to facilitate integrations with Oracle EBS and other SaaS platforms.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables by adhering to technical design specifications and compliance standards.
- Draft and maintain comprehensive design specifications and documentation for solutions.
- Identify and implement strategies for improving internal processes through technology.
- Work collaboratively with cross-domain partner teams (e.g., product management, finance transformation) to develop a leading financial systems platform.
- Participate in regular code and design reviews to uphold high development standards.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
- 4+ years of programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- B.Tech/BE with 5+ years or MS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in SQL Plus, PL/SQL, and LINUX scripting.
- Strong experience in API design and development.
- Familiarity with server-side frameworks (Spring, Flask, Django).
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure.
- Understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST, gRPC) and DevOps principles (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Basic knowledge of GenAI technologies.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Oracle ERP or SAP.
