As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Azure CXP PRIMO organization, which focuses on building critical products that enhance customer success. You will help design, develop, and scale systems and tools to deliver world-class support for Azure users, driving improvements in cloud quality, security, and reliability. This role involves hands-on software development, technical leadership, and close collaboration with various teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Platform Development. Design and implement platforms and tools that empower Azure customers with best-in-class services, diagnostics, and self-service capabilities.
2. Leadership and Mentorship. Lead and guide a team of software engineers, ensuring high standards in code quality, best practices, and efficient delivery of projects.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with product teams, technical program managers, and customers to identify needs and deliver scalable, impactful solutions that enhance customer success.
4. Code Quality and Scalability. Write and maintain high-quality, secure, scalable, and performant code. Focus on optimizing systems for large-scale usage and continuous improvement.
5. Live-Site Support. Engage in DevOps practices to ensure that systems are running smoothly in production and provide support during incidents and operational challenges.
6. Innovation and Problem-Solving. Tackle complex engineering challenges and find innovative solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.

Qualifications

1. Experience. At least 5+ years of experience in software development, working on large-scale engineering projects.
2. Skills. Proficiency in at least one or more programming languages such as C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java, J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React.
3. Education. A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
4. Problem-Solving. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on delivering quality results.
5. Execution. Ability to drive projects to completion with attention to detail and a focus on high standards of code quality.

Preferred

1. Cloud Experience. Familiarity with Azure or AWS platforms.
2. Web Development. Experience with web frameworks like Angular, Knockout, or React.
3. Tools and Technologies. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, SQL, NoSQL, and similar tools.
4. Growth Mindset. A passion for continuous learning and execution, with a strong focus on results.
