Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mobile application design and architecture.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• At least 1 year of experience in software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience with performance optimization, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role, with experience in developing accessible technologies.
• Proficiency with Android/iOS technologies or front-end frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code, ensuring high standards of quality by reviewing code from fellow engineers and providing constructive feedback on best practices.
• Collaborate within the Gemini team to deploy features on Pixel and other mobile devices in the market.
• Design and implement critical functionalities that enhance user experiences, working across teams to establish a robust infrastructure supporting these features.
• Tackle complex, evolving problems while playing a key role in design and architectural decisions.
• Partner closely with Product Management and UX teams to define product strategies and roadmaps.
• Innovate solutions, propose technical directions, and contribute to the advancement of technology.
