With over 10 years of experience in software development, your expertise will guide the team through the most challenging problems while mentoring junior engineers and setting the standard for technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Complex Technical Initiatives. Drive major projects, from technical design to deployment, ensuring high-impact solutions are delivered across multiple teams and products.
2. Tackle Complex Architecture Challenges. Apply architectural standards to solve intricate problems and start new projects with a strong foundation.
3. Lead Code Reviews & Documentation. Set the bar for thorough, meaningful code reviews and ensure high-quality documentation practices. Address complex bugs, particularly those with high risk.
4. Mentor Junior Engineers. Share your expertise by mentoring more junior engineers, promoting collaboration and continuous learning within the team.
5. Cross-team Collaboration. Partner with other engineering teams to contribute to company-wide initiatives that span across multiple projects.
6. Customer-Centric Decision Making. Keep customer impact in mind when making critical technical decisions.

Qualifications

1. Education. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. Experience. 10+ years in software development and architecture.
3. Expertise. Advanced proficiency in at least one prominent programming language (Java, C#, or C/C++).
4. Leadership. Proven ability to mentor and collaborate with junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
5. Problem-Solving. Strong ability to consider the customer impact when making technical decisions and solving complex issues.
