We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Engineer to join our Talent Productivity Engineering team in Bangalore. This role involves implementing and supporting Workday HCM and other HR technologies, turning broad business challenges into scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert. Serve as an expert in Workday HCM, covering functional areas such as Absence, Time Tracking, Expense, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll processes.
- Requirements Development. Collaborate with application owners, users, and stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancements and configure systems accordingly.
- Technical Solutions. Recommend and drive alignment on technical solutions, considering priorities and trade-offs among stakeholders.
- Innovation and Efficiency. Explore and implement new technologies and processes to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues with vendors and technology partners.
- Training and Communication. Lead training and communication plans for technology rollouts.
- Process Documentation. Formalize and document processes to create leverage and scalability.
- Project Management. Manage projects end-to-end, including design, build, QA/testing, deployment, and support.
- Testing Coordination. Work with testing teams and business users to support testing cycles, track defects, and secure user acceptance.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience. 7+ years in HR technology project implementation.
- Workday Expertise. 5+ years of functional configuration experience with Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, and Expense processes.
- Business Process Knowledge. Deep understanding of business process frameworks, calculated fields, and configurable security.
- Reporting Skills. Proficient in Workday reporting and report writing, with knowledge of EIBs for complex data loads.
- Documentation Skills. Proven track record in documenting HCM business requirements and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Expertise. Experience with Talent, Advanced Compensation, and Benefits processes is a plus.
- Integration Knowledge. Familiarity with Workday Integrations and Workday Extend.
- Adaptability. Comfortable in fast-changing environments and skilled at creating clarity from ambiguity.
- Independence and Collaboration. Ability to drive complex projects independently and collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Communication Skills. Strong customer orientation and communication skills for both technical and functional audiences.
- Project Management Experience. Proven experience in project management and software delivery.
- Certifications. Workday certification is a plus, along with knowledge of other SaaS products like Avature CRM and Cornerstone OnDemand Learning.
