Essential Functions

1. AI/ML Pipeline Development. Design and implement end-to-end automated pipelines for AI/ML models, including model training, validation, refitting, recalibration, monitoring, and servicing.
2. Data Engineering. Build efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data ingestion and utilization.
3. Technical Leadership. Provide guidance to teams generating business insights from large datasets, offering impactful recommendations and communicating findings effectively.
4. Client Collaboration. Engage with clients to understand challenges, address business problems with data-driven solutions, and present compelling insights.
5. Innovation and Creativity. Develop innovative ways to leverage Visa’s unique datasets to tackle business challenges and create scalable products.
6. Data Analysis and Visualization. Extract, analyze, and interpret data to derive actionable insights and develop visualizations that simplify complex analyses for diverse audiences.
7. Product Development. Identify opportunities to transform analyses into scalable products for multiple clients.
8. Predictive Modeling. Utilize predictive modeling to optimize customer experiences, drive revenue, and enhance business outcomes.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other teams to design and deploy AI/ML-based solutions.
10. Custom Model Development. Build tailored data models and algorithms for various business needs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
11. Distributed Systems. Design, implement, and maintain reliable, high-performance distributed systems for data processing and analysis.
12. Mentorship. Share expertise in modern analytical techniques and applications, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years of experience with an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), or no experience required with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• 4-6 years of experience with an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, JD, MD).
• 3 years of professional experience with a PhD.
• 4+ years of experience in data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis.
• Master’s degree in a technical field such as Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in data extraction and aggregation using tools like SQL, Hive, or Spark.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL for data analysis.
• Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML model development and pipeline implementation.
• Proven experience in building scalable AI/ML solutions and products.
• Familiarity with designing distributed systems for high-performance data analysis.
