Job Description

The Senior Data Architect will play a critical role in enhancing the survey experience by overseeing the design, programming, and optimization of surveys within the Qualtrics platform. The role will involve collaborating with product and process owners, as well as supporting the integration of surveys with dashboard tools to analyze responses. The Senior Data Architect will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of platforms, including monitoring system health and troubleshooting issues when they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized processes for survey design across different use cases and industries.
  • Design, program, and test new survey methodologies and questions to improve the quality and relevance of feedback.
  • Modify and optimize existing surveys to ensure they remain aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards that enable users to analyze survey data and derive actionable insights.
  • Monitor the health of survey and dashboard platforms to ensure they are fully operational, addressing any risks or issues promptly.
  • Develop reporting solutions that allow stakeholders to access survey data and insights on demand.
  • Lead the integration and launch of new survey-related projects, ensuring that all aspects including survey design, programming, testing, and dashboard development are aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, Qualtrics vendors, and business partners across different markets, to ensure seamless survey deployments.
  • Support the integration of survey data with other business systems, such as Salesforce and Tableau.
  • Work closely with product owners, process owners, and subject matter experts from the Qualtrics team to understand survey requirements and technical specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to teams across different verticals to ensure best practices in survey design and platform usage.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in survey processes by identifying areas of inefficiency and implementing enhancements.
  • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution as necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of surveys and dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in survey scripting and working with data reporting platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qualtrics is a significant advantage for survey design, programming, and maintaining dashboards.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in coding and scripting languages such as Matlab, R, Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc.
  • Experience with Tableau, APIs, and Salesforce integration is highly desirable.

Industry Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the SaaS (Software as a Service) industry, with a solid understanding of cloud-based platforms and data-driven applications.

Project Management Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency in project execution.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Excellent communication skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, external vendors, and business partners across different regions and time zones.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical abilities to understand and interpret survey data, drawing insights that drive business improvements.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and ability to translate complex data into easily interpretable insights for stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with global teams, navigating different time zones, and managing cross-regional communication.
