Job Description

As a Senior Apps Specialist at Google, you will act as a trusted advisor to large, sophisticated clients, helping them optimize and innovate their digital advertising strategies using Google Ads. You will collaborate closely with the world’s biggest advertisers, agencies, and product teams to develop bespoke, data-driven solutions that drive business growth. You’ll be instrumental in managing app-related marketing solutions, ensuring clients can take full advantage of Google’s digital products while also helping them to navigate through mobile and online advertising shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Consulting and Relationship Building. Serve as the go-to expert for key Google Ads clients, offering personalized digital marketing solutions and providing advice on how to improve media plans and campaign performance.
  2. Optimizing Campaigns. Collaborate with clients to optimize their digital advertising strategies, leveraging Google Ads tools to meet their business goals and ensuring the best return on investment (ROI).
  3. Driving Client Growth. Work with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and engineering to develop and implement solutions that drive growth, adoption, and client satisfaction.
  4. Product Expertise. Act as the expert in Google Ads and Apps products, advising clients on technical integration, setup, product features, and best practices for mobile and app-related advertising.
  5. Data Analysis and Insight Generation. Analyze customer data to derive insights, track campaign performance, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize advertising strategies based on those insights.
  6. Advocacy and Adoption. Advocate for new features and tools, supporting clients through migration processes, product upgrades, and feature adoption to drive long-term success.
  7. Internal Collaboration. Work closely with internal teams (including sales, engineering, product, and marketing) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and improve client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Experience. At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing or advertising solutions, with a strong focus on implementation and measurement of digital campaigns.
  3. Client-Facing Experience. A minimum of 4 years in a client-facing role, collaborating with partners at various levels within an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Technical Expertise. 5 years of experience working with internet products, technologies, and tools (preferably with Google Ads or similar platforms), with an aptitude for learning and applying new technologies.
  2. Data-Driven Decision Making. Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, trend identification, and translating findings into actionable insights for clients.
  3. Project Management. Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple, simultaneous client projects, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  4. Experience with Apps & Digital Advertising. Deep understanding of the app ecosystem, mobile advertising, and the online ads landscape.
  5. Collaboration and Communication. Excellent business communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
