Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join their team focused on building next-generation financial systems. This role involves developing highly scalable systems capable of handling massive data volumes and complex business rules, ensuring accurate processing and reporting of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- System Development. Design, build, and deploy highly scalable financial systems using Amazon Cloud technologies.
- Complex Problem Solving. Address challenges related to data volume, business rules, and distributed architecture.
- Collaboration. Work effectively with internal teams and other development teams to deliver high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
- Mentoring. Review technical designs, mentor other developers, and contribute to the development of generic/reusable components.
- Innovation. Utilize a diverse set of technologies and programming languages to build new software products and features.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Design & Architecture. 2+ years of experience in designing and architecting new and existing systems.
- Programming. Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full SDLC Experience. 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Technical Skills. Strong programming skills, experience with design patterns, and knowledge of scalability and reliability.
- Soft Skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively and mentor other developers.
