Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join their team focused on building next-generation financial systems. This role involves developing highly scalable systems capable of handling massive data volumes and complex business rules, ensuring accurate processing and reporting of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

1. System Development. Design, build, and deploy highly scalable financial systems using Amazon Cloud technologies.
2. Complex Problem Solving. Address challenges related to data volume, business rules, and distributed architecture.
3. Collaboration. Work effectively with internal teams and other development teams to deliver high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
4. Mentoring. Review technical designs, mentor other developers, and contribute to the development of generic/reusable components.
5. Innovation. Utilize a diverse set of technologies and programming languages to build new software products and features.

Basic Qualifications

1. Experience. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2. Design & Architecture. 2+ years of experience in designing and architecting new and existing systems.
3. Programming. Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Full SDLC Experience. 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
2. Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
