As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will design and manage complex Salesforce solutions, integrating technologies such as Salesforce.com products, APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and ETL tools. You will blend big-picture thinking with detailed problem-solving to create scalable, high-performance systems that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
- Solution Architecture. Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform effectively.
- Technical Design. Lead design sessions, document solutions, and identify gaps between current and desired states.
- Project Oversight. Provide governance for Salesforce projects, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews.
- Delivery Management. Oversee custom development, integrations, and data migration elements within Salesforce implementations.
- Pre-sales Activities. Participate in discovery sessions, technical deep-dives, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) development as needed.
- Liaison Role. Work with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Travel. Expected to travel to client sites 50-75% of the time.
Requirements
- Experience. 9-14 years of CRM experience, with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform.
- Salesforce Expertise. Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds.
- Systems Architecture. Ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions and understand data sharing and visibility considerations.
- Integration Knowledge. Familiarity with data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, etc.).
- Security Proficiency. Knowledge of platform security capabilities, including TLS, SSL, SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
- Development Background. Strong experience in designing and developing large web-based systems.
- Certifications. Active Salesforce certifications preferred; ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
