Job Description

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will design and manage complex Salesforce solutions, integrating technologies such as Salesforce.com products, APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and ETL tools. You will blend big-picture thinking with detailed problem-solving to create scalable, high-performance systems that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
  2. Solution Architecture. Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform effectively.
  3. Technical Design. Lead design sessions, document solutions, and identify gaps between current and desired states.
  4. Project Oversight. Provide governance for Salesforce projects, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews.
  5. Delivery Management. Oversee custom development, integrations, and data migration elements within Salesforce implementations.
  6. Pre-sales Activities. Participate in discovery sessions, technical deep-dives, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) development as needed.
  7. Liaison Role. Work with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
  8. Travel. Expected to travel to client sites 50-75% of the time.

Requirements

  1. Experience. 9-14 years of CRM experience, with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform.
  2. Salesforce Expertise. Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds.
  3. Systems Architecture. Ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions and understand data sharing and visibility considerations.
  4. Integration Knowledge. Familiarity with data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, etc.).
  5. Security Proficiency. Knowledge of platform security capabilities, including TLS, SSL, SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
  6. Development Background. Strong experience in designing and developing large web-based systems.
  7. Certifications. Active Salesforce certifications preferred; ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
