We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager/Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee projects involving .NET and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, execution, and management, with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Identify project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Team Management

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging communication and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.

Technical Oversight

• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working with .NET and Java technologies.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
• Review technical designs and architecture decisions, offering recommendations for improvements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and propose optimal solutions.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering regular updates on project status and milestones.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align goals and expectations.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Generate regular progress reports and metrics for stakeholders.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.

Leadership and Conflict Resolution

• Exhibit strong leadership skills, resolving conflicts and issues effectively within the project team.
• Govern various project types, including Staff Augmentation, Development, and Support & Maintenance.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate project risks with a focus on proactive risk management strategies.

Agile/Scrum Methodologies

• Demonstrate experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum or other Agile frameworks.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Responsibilities

1. DevOps Practices. Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
2. Cloud Computing. Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
3. UI/UX Design. Basic knowledge of user interface and user experience design principles.

Additional Skills

• Experience with delivery-led growth and reducing project margin deviations.
• Proficiency in costing and budgeting, including developing detailed budgets and tracking costs.
• Ability to leverage ChatGPT and AI tools throughout the project management lifecycle.
• Relevant certifications such as CSM, Scaled Agile certifications, PMP, or Prince2.
• Airline domain knowledge is a plus.
