As a project manager at HCL Tech, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery. You will oversee multiple projects of varying sizes, coach and mentor peers, and engage directly with customers. Strong communication skills and an engaging presence with customers are essential, along with the ability to participate in the presales stage of projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop project plans for medium and large projects.
- Oversee multiple large to XL-size projects with guidance from project leads.
- Ensure customer expectations regarding product quality, functionality, and timely delivery are met.
- Provide and implement recommendations to aid in project success.
- Engage in regular and proactive customer communications.
- Participate in organizational initiatives.
- Provide customer and project reporting.
- Coach and mentor less-tenured project managers.
- Manage project finances.
- Ensure all project-relevant governance meetings are held within the contract framework.
- Participate in departmental initiatives.
- Provide pre-sale consultation.
