During your internship, you will work alongside experienced project managers and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, analyze data, and support program delivery. You’ll be an essential contributor in shaping Amazon’s network and processes, helping the company improve customer experiences on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers. Assist in managing the execution of multiple projects by tracking project actions, milestones, and timelines. Help identify potential roadblocks and work on their resolution.
- Data Analysis. Perform in-depth data analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Use tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Process Improvement. Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and standardization. Work with teams to recommend and implement changes that optimize operational efficiency.
- Risk Management. Support the team by identifying and anticipating risks and contributing to mitigation strategies. Help manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects stay on track.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams. Work with stakeholders from multiple business areas to ensure project requirements are aligned with business goals and timelines.
- Contribute to Innovative Solutions. Assist in the development of creative, long-term solutions that improve operational processes and contribute to the overall growth of Amazon’s global network.
- Project Management Skills. Gain valuable experience in project management and stakeholder engagement in a global, fast-paced environment. Learn how to manage complex projects, utilize project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Asana), and track performance.
- Data Analytics. Develop proficiency in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets to drive business decisions. Gain insights into simulation models and the role of data in program execution.

Basic Qualifications
- Education. Currently pursuing a 2+ year university degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, macros) to manipulate and analyze data.
- Communication Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Eligibility. You are eligible to complete a 3-6 month full-time internship as part of your university program.
- Problem-Solving. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues proactively.
- Curiosity & Proactivity. Demonstrate curiosity and the willingness to learn new skills and take on more responsibility as the internship progresses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Tools. Previous experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or Trello is a plus.
- Work Experience. Previous internship or work experience (e.g., summer job) in a related field is advantageous but not required.
