As a Product Designer at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences. You'll apply design thinking to ensure that the products meet user needs, business goals, and technical requirements while working closely with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
Your work will range from research and ideation to the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs. You’ll actively participate in client strategy sessions and usability testing and provide ongoing support to ensure the successful implementation of your designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create beautiful and intuitive user interfaces, focusing on digital products (web, mobile, etc.).
- Ensure your designs adhere to UI best practices, including usability, accessibility, and interaction design standards.
- Conduct research such as user interviews, usability testing, and customer journey mapping to inform your design process.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models to communicate design concepts.
- Apply Human-Centered Design principles to solve real user problems and enhance overall user experience.
- Participate in strategy and brainstorming sessions with clients to define their goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create high-level concepts and progressively add details, ensuring that each design aligns with user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with clients, product managers, and team members to refine design concepts and make sure your designs meet client expectations.
- Actively participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating feedback from others.
- Use rapid prototyping techniques, ranging from paper sketches to digital prototypes using tools like Figma.
- Craft compelling stories that explain design decisions and illustrate the user flow clearly, using visuals and verbal presentations.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and remain true to the vision.
- Participate in ongoing design iteration based on feedback and performance data to continuously improve the product.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on design techniques and helping them grow professionally.
- Lead by example and foster a collaborative environment for creative problem-solving.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide design solutions, and ensure the design aligns with their business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience. At least 3+ years of experience in digital design (including UI/UX, mobile design, web design).
- Design Tools. Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Communication. Ability to effectively communicate your design concepts, reasoning, and vision to both clients and cross-functional teams.
- Education. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
- Language. Fluency in English is required due to frequent interactions with English-speaking stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual. Fluency in both French and English is highly preferred for this position.
- Consulting Experience. Previous experience in client-facing roles (ideally in consulting, agency, or similar environments).
- Mobile and Web Design. Expertise in designing for mobile-first experiences or cross-platform design solutions.
- Research & Testing. Familiarity with user research methods, such as observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, etc.
