As a Consulting Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery lifecycle of projects, from envisioning and solution development to delivery management and cloud consumption. This role requires a strategic leader who excels in managing customer relationships, ensuring project success, and contributing to intellectual property development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire delivery lifecycle, including solution development, delivery planning, and cloud consumption.
- Lead steering committee meetings with strategic customers to discuss project progress and success.
- Manage project delivery forecasts and collaborate with Sales to ensure contract setup, compliance, and execution.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility within the project portfolio, ensuring engagement profitability and effective risk management.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and proactive issue management.
- Research and share intellectual property and recommend improvements.
- Enforce the reuse of IP and processes within the team to enhance collective knowledge.
- Develop and nurture customer partnerships through broad technical expertise and effective stakeholder management.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues with tailored corrective actions and strategic influence.
- Act as the voice of the customer by analyzing feedback and managing expectations with political sensitivity.
- Drive project initiation for medium to high-complexity projects, including resource commitment, partner resource management, and work breakdown structures (WBSs).
- Balance project needs and collaborate with resource managers on integrated planning and organization.
- Facilitate the contracting process for customer and partner resources, including coordinating partner interviews and managing subcontractor contracts.
- Monitor and initiate amendments, delivery acceptance, proof of delivery, and invoicing processes.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities by articulating business value propositions and assessing project complexities and risks.
- Assist in developing Statements of Work (SOWs), WBSs, estimates, and risk assessments.
- Develop detailed project management plans for medium complexity projects and support senior colleagues in high-complexity projects.
- Establish clear expectations and accountabilities with project team members and stakeholders.
- Oversee project metrics and ensure adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage risks and issues, ensuring timely completion and quality of deliverables.
- Handle project finances, balancing funding and resources, and understand the broader business impact.
- Ensure timely project closure by completing sign-off tasks and reflecting on lessons learned.
- Drive incremental process improvements and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- Manage the financial health of projects, identify opportunities for incremental business, and drive cloud consumption.
- Engage in the pursuit cycle and support forecasting efforts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3+ years of project management experience, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 8+ years of project management experience, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 4+ years of financial management experience.
- Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification.
