Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Power Apps Developer to join our growing digital transformation team. As a Power Apps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing applications, automating workflows, integrating AI capabilities, and building powerful data visualizations. You'll be working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and continuously enhance platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) to support key business processes.
  • Create and manage complex workflows using Power Automate, optimizing process automation and streamlining repetitive tasks.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, ensuring data is visualized in a meaningful and actionable way.
  • Develop conversational experiences using Power Virtual Agents, enabling AI-powered chatbots for internal and external users.
  • Design web portals using Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals) to extend business solutions to external audiences.
  • Leverage AI Builder to incorporate artificial intelligence into apps and workflows, such as form processing and object detection.
  • Design and manage data models and database structures that support application performance and scalability, with proficiency in SQL and data integration.
  • Utilize Azure services for seamless integration with the Power Platform and ensure secure, scalable architecture.
  • Develop custom connectors and plugins using programming languages like JavaScript, C#, and PowerShell.
  • Package and deploy solutions across environments, managing versioning, solution lifecycle, and migration using best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and QA teams, adhering to Agile methodologies.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of solution architecture, workflows, and deployment guides.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing limitations, such as execution limits in flows and app boundaries.
  • Apply DevOps principles and use ALM tools for continuous integration and delivery within the Power Platform.
  • Stay current with the latest features, releases, and trends within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform including.

    • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)

    • Power Automate

    • Power BI

    • Power Virtual Agents

    • Power Pages

    • AI Builder

  • Strong background in data modeling, relational database design, and SQL querying.
  • Solid understanding of Azure services, their use cases, and integration with Power Platform applications.
  • Programming experience in one or more languages JavaScript, C#, PowerShell.
  • Practical experience in creating custom connectors, using HTTP APIs, and integrating external services.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform licensing models, including environment capacity and flow limitations.
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management, solution packaging, and DevOps tools for Power Platform.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using project management and Agile collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Trello.

    • PL-100. Power Platform App Maker Associate

    • PL-200. Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate

    • PL-400. Power Platform Developer Associate

  • Experience working in regulated environments or with industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform Governance, including DLP policies, environment strategies, and monitoring.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
