What You'll Do

1. Documentation. Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for network design, operation, and procedures.
2. Travel. Extensive travel (over 60%) to provide onsite support for Gartner conferences globally.
3. Problem-Solving. Utilize strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
4. Technical Expertise. Apply your knowledge of network operating systems, topologies, hardware, routing, switching, and security.
5. Support. Provide technical support and troubleshoot network issues. Manage hardware inventory and firmware updates.
6. Collaboration. Liaise with regional and global team members, and build strong relationships with conference business units.

What You'll Need

• Experience. 2-4 years of experience as a network specialist.

Technical Skills

• Setup, support, and implementation of IP network solutions.
• Basic configuration and support of OSPF, EIGRP, PPP, VLAN, SPAN.
• Knowledge of network management protocols and tools.
• Support for DHCP and DNS.
• Network troubleshooting skills.
• Vendor management experience.
• Understanding of wireless networks, including planning and survey tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft WIN7/10/MAC.
• Ability to configure, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless Controllers and access points.
• Soft Skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
