Infosys is looking for a skilled IT Testing - Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. As an integral part of the delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our clients' digital transformation projects. You will be responsible for performing various testing activities, including test planning, automation testing, defect prevention, and production verification to ensure applications meet high-quality standards before going live.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
2. Test Planning & Development. Develop detailed test plans, create test cases, and set up test environments to validate application performance.
3. Automation Testing. Conduct automation testing using tools like Selenium to improve test efficiency and coverage.
4. Defect Prevention. Lead defect prevention (DP) activities, especially in smaller projects, to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
5. Production Verification. Perform go-live activities, ensuring the application runs smoothly in the production environment as per the implementation plan.
6. Configuration Management. Act as the configuration controller for the project, ensuring strict adherence to quality and configuration management plans.
7. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing. Engage in knowledge management activities and collaborate with internal teams to maintain high service standards.
8. Client Focus. Ensure that all testing activities align with client requirements, contributing to the success of their digital transformation journey.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience. Previous experience in automation testing, specifically with Selenium.
2. Test Case Development. Experience in developing comprehensive test cases and test plans based on project requirements.
3. Basic Scripting. Fundamental knowledge of scripting for test automation and custom solutions.
4. Analytical Skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues, troubleshoot, and optimize testing processes.
5. Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with global teams and provide status updates.
6. Interpersonal Skills. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
