Infosys is looking for a Java API Microservices Developer with 4+ years of industry experience. You will play a critical role in the Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) domain, contributing to the Assurance and Fulfillment spaces. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a passion for API microservices development, a deep understanding of Java, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to deliver effective solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- API Microservices Development. Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based API microservices.
- Client Engagement. Collaborate with clients to understand their current systems (AS-IS) and business logic to propose and implement appropriate solutions.
- Product Feature Delivery. Own and deliver new product features with a focus on Python for backend development.
- Collaborative Work Environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all development tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Learning. Stay on top of industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting and applying new methods to improve project outcomes.
- Quality & Innovation. Participate in ongoing research, development, and implementation of new ideas, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills
- Java & Microservices. Strong expertise in Java and API microservices development.
- React & CI/CD. Proficiency with React and experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Business Logic Understanding. Ability to analyze and understand existing customer systems and translate them into effective solutions.
- Telecom OSS Domain Knowledge. Prior experience or a solid understanding of the Telecom OSS domain, specifically in Assurance and Fulfillment areas.
Good to Have Skills
- Python. Experience with Python for backend development tasks.
- Containerization & Orchestration. Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for building and deploying applications.
- Cloud Technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Agile Methodologies. Familiarity with Agile development practices and principles.
