As a Software Engineer at Expedia Group, you’ll be part of a team transforming the travel industry.
You will
- Develop robust, tested code to enhance our products.
- Achieve ambitious team goals while delivering high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and architects.
- Apply coding standards and follow best practices to ensure engineering excellence.
- Solve technical challenges through research and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
- Actively identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in existing systems.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
- Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience. 5+ years in software development, delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python/Java, Maven, Tomcat, and web technologies (JavaScript, APIs).
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Scripting expertise in Python or similar languages.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and handle increasingly complex tasks.
- Preferred. Experience with agile development processes.
