Join our Business Intelligence (BI) team as a Front-End Power BI Developer, where you will play a crucial role in creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reporting solutions. As a core developer, you will collaborate closely with HP’s business teams to drive effective data solutions, ensuring high data quality and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Development

• Design and implement robust database workflows, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Conduct SQL development and manage databases to support reporting and dashboard functionalities.

Power BI Solutions

• Lead the end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards, leveraging features such as Power Query, DAX, and custom visuals.
• Innovate new ways to present data effectively to meet business needs and propose alternative dashboard solutions when beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Design data architecture, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of database models.
• Maintain a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel functionalities.

Collaboration and Support

• Work directly with business stakeholders, providing technical guidance to project managers and ensuring the success of BI solutions.
• Mentor and lead junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment to solve business challenges effectively.

Data Quality Assurance

• Take ownership of end-to-end data quality, from sourcing to reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the BI process.
• Maintain proactive communication with colleagues, driving tasks and initiatives without waiting for direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in SQL and Power BI development, with a solid understanding of HTML and C (additional programming languages are a plus).
• Familiarity with web development and analytical tools like Python.
• Proven experience in complex data environments, showcasing strong data analysis and visualization skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about business operations and processes.
