As the Enterprise Risk Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across PhonePe. You will develop a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework that supports strategic decision-making and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Framework Development. Design and maintain a robust enterprise risk management framework integrated into the organization’s activities and decision-making processes.
- Risk Assessment. Identify and assess risks across various areas, including business operations, technology, compliance, and strategy.
- Mitigation Strategies. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective controls.
- Monitoring & Reporting. Continuously monitor key risks, update risk registers, and prepare reports for senior leadership, highlighting emerging risks and mitigation effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with department heads to identify risks specific to their areas and assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Compliance Alignment. Ensure alignment between risk management and compliance efforts, tracking regulatory changes and integrating them into risk assessments.
- Cultural Development. Promote a culture of risk management within the organization, providing guidance and training to enhance awareness and accountability.
Qualifications
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, finance, or law. Relevant certifications in ERM, PRM, CRM, or ORM are desirable.
- Experience. 5–8 years of experience in compliance, audit, or enterprise risk management, preferably in financial services.
- Skills. Strong analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and SQL. Familiarity with GRC tools such as ServiceNow is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented. Highly detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interpersonal Skills. Strong communication and influencing skills to establish credibility and partnerships with senior leaders.
