As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers, facilitating discussions and decision-making related to engineering practices. You will be responsible for defining and executing engineering plans, ensuring the health of production systems, and driving best practices within your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate team discussions and drive decision-making on engineering matters.
• Define and implement engineering plans and maintain production system hygiene.
• Challenge business and product teams on outcomes, integrating feedback into execution.
• Hire, mentor, and retain a top-tier engineering team.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including business, product, operations, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions, including large-scale distributed systems.
• Track record of building and managing high-performing software development teams.
• Strong practical experience in system design and architecture.
• BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to various audiences.

Preferred

• Experience in startup environments or fast-paced settings is advantageous.
