  3. Improving System Scalability & Reliability. Enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based environments. Work on optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring that systems can scale efficiently to meet demand while maintaining high availability.
  4. Incident Management & Troubleshooting. Respond to and resolve production incidents, providing debugging support across various levels of our services and applications. Leverage your expertise to quickly identify and resolve issues affecting system performance or user experience.
  5. Collaboration Across Teams. Work closely with developers, QA teams, and other IT departments to coordinate software release activities and maintain reliable testing and production environments. Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment processes.
  6. Support & Documentation. Provide ongoing support for code deployments and environment automation while documenting processes in tools like Confluence. Help develop and maintain a knowledge base to streamline operational efficiencies across the organization.

Key Requirements

  1. Experience in Cloud and IaC. A solid working experience (3-6 years) with production-grade Terraform and Kubernetes (preferably Azure Kubernetes Service, AKS). Expertise in building and managing Infrastructure as Code pipelines using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Azure CLI, or CloudFormation.
  2. CI/CD Pipeline Expertise. Strong experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Knowledge of source code versioning systems (GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab) and the ability to integrate them into a seamless workflow.
  3. Scripting and Automation. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell, or Python to automate processes and improve system reliability and efficiency. A strong desire to automate and improve the technology landscape is a must.
  4. Database Expertise. Experience working with both relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). Understanding of database automation processes and troubleshooting database-related issues.
  5. Cloud DevOps Tools & Services. Proven ability to utilize and troubleshoot a wide range of DevOps tools and services, including Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, Docker, Vault, Elastic Stack, AppDynamics for monitoring and alerting, and Nagios.
  6. Bonus Skills. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Elasticsearch is highly desirable. Any certifications in Cloud or DevOps tools (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) will be a significant plus.
