Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on Data Consulting Leader and Solutions Architect who excels in developing, designing, and maintaining cloud-based data platforms across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You’ll orchestrate complex ETL processes, build robust data warehouses, and advocate for modern data technologies. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will navigate intricate data challenges, delivering scalable and secure solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Technology Solutions. Oversee the architecture and delivery of large, complex data applications across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
  2. Data Pipeline Development. Design and build robust data pipelines using scalable tools and techniques to produce high-quality data structures.
  3. Architect Data Solutions. Develop solution blueprints and migration plans for data modernization, documenting and presenting recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  4. Optimize Data Processing. Implement efficient data processing methods and integrate complex business logic compatible with real-time streaming frameworks.
  5. Enhance Automation. Drive the scaling and automation of complex datasets based on client analytic use cases, transforming data for impactful visualizations.
  6. Business Development. Engage in proactive development activities, including proposal responses and recruitment efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Professional Experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing data architecture and solutions, with at least 5 years focused on Data & Analytics solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  2. Technical Expertise. Strong hands-on experience in building data pipelines using technologies like Spark and Kafka, with a minimum of 3 years in developing Data Platforms on Spark/Hadoop.
  3. Cloud Solutions Architect Certification. Valid certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is required.
  4. Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  5. Language Skills. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and globally.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience in consulting or client service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Master’s Degree is a plus.

At Accenture, compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. For roles based in British Columbia, the annual salary range is between $73,300 and $176,800.
