We’re seeking a hands-on Data Consulting Leader and Solutions Architect who excels in developing, designing, and maintaining cloud-based data platforms across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You’ll orchestrate complex ETL processes, build robust data warehouses, and advocate for modern data technologies. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will navigate intricate data challenges, delivering scalable and secure solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Technology Solutions. Oversee the architecture and delivery of large, complex data applications across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
- Data Pipeline Development. Design and build robust data pipelines using scalable tools and techniques to produce high-quality data structures.
- Architect Data Solutions. Develop solution blueprints and migration plans for data modernization, documenting and presenting recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Optimize Data Processing. Implement efficient data processing methods and integrate complex business logic compatible with real-time streaming frameworks.
- Enhance Automation. Drive the scaling and automation of complex datasets based on client analytic use cases, transforming data for impactful visualizations.
- Business Development. Engage in proactive development activities, including proposal responses and recruitment efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing data architecture and solutions, with at least 5 years focused on Data & Analytics solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Technical Expertise. Strong hands-on experience in building data pipelines using technologies like Spark and Kafka, with a minimum of 3 years in developing Data Platforms on Spark/Hadoop.
- Cloud Solutions Architect Certification. Valid certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is required.
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Language Skills. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and globally.
