Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, control, and completion of projects. Your role involves guiding team members on technical aspects, conducting reviews of technical documents and artifacts, and leading project development, production support, and maintenance activities. You will serve as the primary customer interface, proactively addressing issues, and ensuring that all project aspects are handled efficiently and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Guide team members on technical aspects of projects, ensuring clarity and effective execution.
  • Lead project development, production support, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and Software Quality Processes.

Documentation and Reviews

  • Create and review functional and technical specification documents.
  • Conduct regular reviews of technical documents and artifacts.

Ticket Management

  • Track and manage open tickets/incidents in the queue.
  • Allocate tickets to resources, ensuring timely resolution and closure within deadlines.

Customer Interface

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues proactively, before escalation.

Performance and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SLA’s (Service Level Agreements), KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), and OLA’s (Operational Level Agreements).
  • Monitor and review team performance, promoting continuous improvement in processes and delivery.

Team Development

  • Promote teamwork and foster a positive working environment.
  • Motivate, mentor, and develop team members, enhancing their skills and performance.

Operational Duties

  • Ensure timesheets and invoicing processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide application production support as per the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) Matrix.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management with a strong understanding of technical aspects and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent documentation, review, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Experience in managing SLA’s, KPI’s, and OLA’s.
  • Familiarity with Software Quality Processes and ticket management systems.
