Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in developing and troubleshooting data processing algorithms.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and Big Data technologies, including Scala, Spark, and Hadoop frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data warehouses, including technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Proven experience in building multi-tier, high-availability applications using modern technologies, including NoSQL, MongoDB, Spark ML, and TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of Big Data, information retrieval, data mining, or machine learning.
- Experience architecting and developing software for internet-scale production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP)).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into actionable recommendations for solution architectures and advisory services.
- Lead high-velocity migration and modernization projects to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in conjunction with technical leads and partners.
- Design, migrate/build, and operationalize data storage and processing infrastructures utilizing cloud-native products.
- Develop and implement data quality and governance procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Organize project requirements into clear goals and objectives, creating a work breakdown structure to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
