Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Databricks with Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL to build robust data solutions on a Big Data Managed Platform.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data efficiently.
• Employ CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based technologies to automate the deployment of ETL solutions.
• Contribute to cloud architectures on platforms such as Azure or AWS to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Perform data modeling, including database structure design, entity relationship creation, and unique identifier generation, to enable high-quality data solutions.
• Conduct data assessments, data quality validation, and data profiling to ensure the accuracy and integrity of datasets.
• Adopt and advocate software development best practices like modularization, code testing, and refactoring to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and develop solutions tailored to business objectives.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and act as a point of leadership for your team in delivering high-value solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in ETL/Data Analysis, working with reputable organizations.
• Expertise in Big Data Managed Platforms like Databricks, with hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL.
• In-depth knowledge of data pipeline orchestration and automation using CI/CD methodologies in cloud environments.
• Experience deploying ETL workflows in Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with data modeling, including database structure design, entity relationships, and data profiling.
• Proficient in SQL for data transformation and validation, along with experience using ETL tools.
• Strong understanding of data quality processes and the ability to perform comprehensive data assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in different time zones and geographies.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to changing requirements.
