We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that enable seamless data integration and transformation. You will leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Data Composer, and Data Flow, to ensure data accessibility and actionable insights for various business teams.

As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to drive data-centric solutions that support organizational goals.

What You’ll Do

SQL Mastery

• Develop complex SQL queries and optimize performance for large datasets.
• Manage data warehouses, primarily using BigQuery, to ensure smooth data operations.

Data Pipeline Development

• Design, build, and enhance ETL pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
• Maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Leverage GCP Tools

• Use GCP services such as BigQuery, Data Composer, and Data Flow to build robust data integration and analytics solutions.

Python for Automation

• Write Python scripts to automate workflows, improve data processing efficiency, and support ETL processes.
• Utilize Python libraries like pandas and numpy for data manipulation and analysis.

Data Quality Assurance

• Validate data integrity and accuracy throughout the pipeline.
• Troubleshoot issues in data workflows to maintain high-quality standards.

Collaborative Problem-Solving

• Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence professionals, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document workflows, processes, and solutions to streamline future development.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

1. SQL Expertise. Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
2. Python Skills. Intermediate knowledge of Python for data-related tasks using libraries like pandas and numpy.
3. GCP Experience. Hands-on experience with GCP tools, particularly BigQuery, Data Composer, and Data Flow.
4. ETL & Data Modeling. Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling principles.
5. Problem-Solving Skills. Proven ability to troubleshoot data pipeline and processing challenges.
6. Collaboration & Communication. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cloud-native data environments and additional GCP services like Pub/Sub, Data Lake, and Cloud Storage.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices for deploying and managing data solutions.
