Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, engineering, and supporting cybersecurity solutions, particularly in IAM. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to various cybersecurity initiatives, including Cloud Security, Secure Service on the Edge, and Automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Design and Engineering. Design, engineer, and support cybersecurity IAM solutions to ensure robust protection of identity and access.
  2. Documentation. Create and maintain architecture and support documents for IAM security solutions.
  3. Collaboration. Work closely with IAM architects on various cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
  4. Policy Development. Assist in creating and updating cybersecurity policies, architectures, and standards under the guidance of cybersecurity architects.
  5. Upgrades and Automation. Upgrade security solutions and identify opportunities for automation.
  6. Proof of Concept. Participate in proof-of-concept activities under the guidance of cybersecurity architects.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • OKTA Certification required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is a plus.

Experience

  1. Hands-on Experience. 5+ years of experience in designing, engineering, and supporting cybersecurity solutions, specifically in IAM.
  2. OKTA Expertise. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with OKTA Authentication, SSO, MFA, and IAM.
  3. Technical Knowledge. General understanding of supporting technologies such as SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, and SQL.
  4. Programming Skills. Proficiency in programming languages like Java with Spring Boot, including SCIM integration.
  5. Workflow Design. Experience in designing OKTA workflows based on business requirements.
  6. Documentation. Experience with design document creation and test case development.
  7. Service Orientation. Ability to understand business needs and deliver high-quality, efficient service.
  8. Collaboration. Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
  9. Vulnerability Knowledge. Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
  10. Problem-Solving. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
