As the Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure (CPI) Manager at Google, you will play a pivotal role in guiding customers through their cloud transformation journey. You will be part of the North American Professional Services Leadership team, responsible for defining and executing strategies to deliver Google Cloud solutions. This role involves managing a team of developers and consultants, working closely with customer executives and technical leaders, and overseeing relationships with key partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management. Lead, expand, and scale a team of consultants and cloud developers, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.
- Customer Engagement. Understand customer needs, design a strategy for Google Professional Services Organization (PSO), and partner with customer technical leads and executives to deliver successful cloud migrations and solutions.
- Program Development. Create and manage programs, maintain relationships with key partners, and translate complex customer requirements into actionable recommendations for solution architectures.
- Product Strategy Influence. Contribute to and influence Google Cloud’s long-term product strategy, leveraging your insights and experiences.
- Solution Delivery. Oversee the delivery of consulting services, technical guidance, and best practices to help customers transform their businesses using Google Cloud technology.
Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience. 10 years of experience in consulting or client-facing roles delivering cloud solutions.
- Leadership. 10 years of experience leading global or distributed teams, including developing team members, managers, and technical leads.
- Channel Management. 8 years of experience managing channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Education. MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Coding Experience. Ability to read and understand software code in one or more languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Kubernetes Experience. Experience with Kubernetes or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Systems Design. Experience in systems design with the ability to explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and methods.
- Communication Skills. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Cross-Functional Experience. Experience working in cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Compensation
- Base Salary Range. $221,000 - $314,000 per year (US locations). The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries across all US locations and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Specific salary information for your preferred location will be provided by your recruiter.
