As a Cloud Native Architect, you will leverage your expertise in cloud-native application design, development, and modernization to influence high-profile engagements. You will work on designing and building cloud-native applications, tackling complex technical challenges, and guiding the modernization of legacy systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed cloud-native applications based on the twelve-factors methodology.
• Create and validate architectural proofs of concept as needed.
• Oversee the design and implementation of cloud-native applications, resolving complex technical issues.
• Manage client stakeholder relationships with effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct technology assessments and recommend improvements in automation, application architecture, and cloud services.
• Provide strategic direction for application modernization and custom development.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Cloud Native Application Design & Development, utilizing microservices, cloud-native patterns, event-driven architecture, and evolutionary architecture principles.
• Minimum of 5 years conducting client technology assessments and implementing improvements.
• Front-End Development. Angular or React.
• Microservices Development. Node.js or Java/SpringBoot.
• Cloud Providers. AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• At least 2 years of experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or other messaging brokers (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience with domain-driven design and Kubernetes.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years if no degree).

Language Requirements

• Proficiency in English is required due to the role’s interactions with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other countries where English is the common language.
