We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Azure cloud services, infrastructure as code using Terraform, and container orchestration through Kubernetes. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. You will also contribute to building next-generation cloud automation frameworks and play a crucial role in the successful delivery of large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Engineering. Lead the design and development of cloud-native environments on Microsoft Azure. Evaluate engineering solutions for new environment builds, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with architectural best practices.
- Automation & Orchestration. Architect, implement, and continually improve infrastructure automation using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Build orchestration workflows that simplify cloud operations and enhance deployment efficiency.
- Containerization & Kubernetes Management. Utilize Docker for containerization and manage Kubernetes clusters for deployment, scaling, and maintenance of cloud-native applications. Optimize container orchestration for high availability and performance.
- Continuous Improvement. Drive enhancements in existing cloud environments by identifying bottlenecks, automation opportunities, and process improvements. Regularly audit cloud systems for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance.
- Security Best Practices. Apply industry-standard security frameworks and governance policies to ensure secure cloud deployments. Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Technology Roadmapping. Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation. Provide thought leadership by advising customers and internal teams on cloud strategy, tools, and best practices.
- Client Collaboration & Consulting. Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, including technical leads and C-level executives. Recommend technical solutions aligned with business goals and support their implementation throughout the cloud lifecycle.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing. Contribute to building the competency of the team through mentoring, documentation, whitepapers, and presentations. Lead internal discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions on cloud trends and best practices.
- Project Estimation & Planning. Collaborate with technology leads and project managers to estimate work requirements, plan deliverables, and ensure timely execution of cloud initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-level Azure cloud environments
- Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Deep understanding of container technologies including Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience in implementing and maintaining secure cloud environments aligned with industry regulations
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and suggest technology-driven improvements
