We are seeking a talented Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS), Docker, and AWS services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications while ensuring optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Kubernetes & Docker Management. Provision, maintain, and deploy Kubernetes clusters, preferably using AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and performance. Deep understanding of Docker architecture and related tools is essential.
- AWS Cloud Solutions. Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, EBS, and others. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like AWS CLI and CloudFormation.
- Security & Observability. Continuously assess platform security, implement improvements, and integrate security tools such as SonarQube, HPE Fortify, and Twistlock into CI/CD pipelines. Employ observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana for distributed systems monitoring.
- Cloud Architecture & Integration. Identify optimal cloud architecture solutions to support strategic goals. Migrate applications from on-premise environments to AWS EKS and support hybrid environments.
- CI/CD & IAC Development. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Helm. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for efficient deployments.
- IAM Configuration. Configure and manage IAM users, roles, and policies to ensure secure access control.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications, particularly with AWS (EKS, S3, ECS, EC2, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in provisioning, maintaining, and deploying Kubernetes clusters, with a strong focus on AWS EKS.
- Expertise in designing scalable solutions and implementing AWS services (VPC, IAM, ELB, EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, EFS, WAF, EBS, EMR, etc.)
- Proficiency in writing Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifest files, Dockerfiles, and integrating security scanning tools.
- Experience with observability and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Docker architecture and ability to debug complex issues.
