Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management. Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
- Containerization and Orchestration. Utilize Docker for containerization and manage orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure smooth application deployment and scalability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, enabling consistent, repeatable, and automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Database Administration. Configure, monitor, and optimize relational databases, including SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, to ensure high performance and availability.
- CI/CD Pipelines. Set up, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline application delivery processes.
- Monitoring and Logging. Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system performance and quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Scripting and Automation. Use scripting languages such as Bash for automation of routine tasks and workflows, enhancing operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum of 4 years in AWS DevOps or related roles, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash is a plus.
- Soft Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a significant advantage.
