Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management. Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
2. Containerization and Orchestration. Utilize Docker for containerization and manage orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure smooth application deployment and scalability.
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, enabling consistent, repeatable, and automated infrastructure provisioning.
4. Database Administration. Configure, monitor, and optimize relational databases, including SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, to ensure high performance and availability.
5. CI/CD Pipelines. Set up, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline application delivery processes.
6. Monitoring and Logging. Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system performance and quickly identify and resolve issues.
7. Scripting and Automation. Use scripting languages such as Bash for automation of routine tasks and workflows, enhancing operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience. Minimum of 4 years in AWS DevOps or related roles, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash is a plus.
• Soft Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a significant advantage.
