Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and manage complex cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public cloud services, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and adhering to best security practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or Oracle.
  • Implement and manage cloud services such as VPC/VNETs, subnetting, routing, peering, logging, monitoring, and VPNs.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms on cloud providers.
  • Utilize containerization technologies for efficient application management.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Implement infrastructure as code principles to automate provisioning and management tasks.
  • Implement cloud security best practices and controls.
  • Manage security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Understand and configure network fundamentals, Azure AD/IAM, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Ensure secure and efficient network configurations and access policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex environments.
  • Provide support for high-availability and high-transaction environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project status and issues.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator) are preferred.
  • Expertise in public cloud services including VPC/VNETs, subnetting, routing, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD and Terraform/Ansible for infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of GitOps principles and tools like ArgoCD.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing complex environments with high availability and geographical complexity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve technical issues.
