We are seeking an experienced and passionate Automated Tester to join the team. Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Execution. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure the functionality, quality, and reliability of the systems under test.
2. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams. Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to understand system requirements and design effective testing strategies.
3. Manual & Automated Testing. Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and validate system functionality.
4. Test Automation Frameworks. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG. Collaborate on building a robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline.
5. Defect Management. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and resolution across all teams.
6. Continuous Improvement. Actively contribute to refining testing methodologies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
7. Technology Awareness. Keep up with the latest trends and emerging technologies in the software testing domain to improve testing capabilities and stay ahead of industry competition.
8. Agile Participation. Actively engage in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups, ensuring alignment within the team and across the organization.
9. Collaboration. Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams, providing timely feedback on system quality and helping to resolve issues in a collaborative manner.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background. BE/B.Tech, MCA, or related degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
2. Experience. 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a proven track record in test automation.
3. Knowledge of SDLC. In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
4. Test Automation Tools Expertise. Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG.
5. Programming Languages. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python, enabling you to write effective and efficient automation scripts.
6. System Architecture & OS Knowledge. Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
7. Analytical Skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to identifying defects.
8. Communication & Teamwork. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Multitasking & Time Management. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
